**The client**
Our Client is NZX and ASX listed company who is in the building business with 10.000+ employees across New Zealand, Australia and South Pacific.

**The Role**
Reporting to the Payroll Remediation Project Lead, you will support the Payroll Remediation and Compliance team activities in the detailed investigation of all aspects of payroll to fully identify any gaps in compliance and determine root cause for these gaps.
You will provide detailed documentation of these findings both at a technical level as well as record options and recommendations for how changes may be made to the payroll to ensure compliance. You will also calculate the impact of changes to employee pay including the financial impact on the business unit and to present these findings to stakeholders.si

**Key Skills + Requirements**
- Excellent analytical skills and advanced Excel
- Ability to problem solve within large sets of data
- Good understanding of legislative compliance relating to payroll in New Zealand.
- Good understanding of the Holidays Act 2003 and ability to interpret into plain English
- Ability to execute compliance activities using set procedures and guidelines
- Able to interpret employment agreements and pay rules
- Good understanding of payroll and time and attendance systems and configuration
- Ability to effectively communicate complex information in easy-to-understand detail to key stakeholders
- High attention to detail and highly numerate
