Our client is one of the leading suppliers of building materials to New Zealand’s construction markets. They are currently looking for positive and hands-on Operations Team Leaders for their Evans Bay and Kaiwharawhara locations.

This is a great opportunity for someone from a Team Leader, Retail or General Customer Service background to step up into a key role within the Management team, supporting the wider team to ensure they are happy and well managed.

As 2IC to the Branch Manager you will look after staff, customers, suppliers and contractors, oversee logistics while also being responsible for the health and safety of the staff on site.

To succeed in this role you will:

- Be organised with great attention to detail
- Be a great communicator and relationship builder
- Have great customer service skills
- Be comfortable with decision making and leading others
- Have good computer skills
- Have a NZ driving license
- Be committed to the success of your team
