We are looking for an Assistant store manager for our Retail store at Henderson. As an assistant manager, you will assist the manager or owner in the planning, controlling, and execution of all aspects of the business including, purchases, managing, sales, promotion, inventories, and stock management.

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Assist in orienting, training, and nurturing friendly and happy team members.
- Support GM in scheduling, time, ordering, and managing the store.
- Engage with and entertain guests at all times
- Energetically resolve all guest experience concerns
- Assists, follow, and lead team members under the guidance of Manager to comply with, all safety and operational procedures
- Problem-solve obstacles with and for your team, to guarantee an outstanding guest experience
- Maintain a high-energy and positive spirit with your team, even in the “not so sweet” moments when challenges arise
- Multi-task within a rapidly moving entertainment environment, with a high volume of guests
- Support Retail department via inventory management/reconciliation and team member training
- Maintain housekeeping standards

**Minimum 30 Hours Guranteed**

**Job Requirements**
- Must be NZ resident/Citizen
- Must be able to work during the weekends
- Strong ability to lead others and nurture their creativity
- Outstanding communication and problem-solving skills, with continual emphasis on guest experience
- Energy, agility, adaptability, and flexibility

**Salary**: $26.00 - $29.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Henderson, Auckland: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
