The Processing Team Leader's role is to elevate the daily performance of a team of Processing Officers so that NZ Post products and parcels are sorted according to agreed processing criteria and performance targets. With the number of parcels increasing and being a key part of our dynamic national network, this area is kept on their toes.

Central to this role, of course, is people leadership and the ability to engage with truck drivers and contractors. You'll take a hands-on approach, demonstrating a commitment to safety and fostering a high performing and positive team culture. You will also need to have some admin skills as you'll oversee rostering, payroll and other important things that keep the team running smoothly.

In this role, you will have responsibility for both our East Depot in Mowbray Street from Monday to Thursday and our My Food Bag site in Hornby on a Sunday. **The shift for this role is 8am - 4.30pm Monday to Thursday and 10.30am - 7pm Sunday.**

Our 'Safety Always' approach to health, safety and wellbeing of our people underpins all that we do and is core to our business. We are looking for someone who has demonstrable experience in injury prevention, early intervention and continuous improvement.
