An exciting opportunity exists to join the team at Dicker Data. The **Marketing Coordinator **will support the marketing team and assist our business units and our vendors with promotion fulfillment, event management, and creating website content.

**What you will do in this role**:

- Take ownership of the Marketing Requests inbox and ensure all tickets are responded to within the set SLA's and projects are owned end-to-end.
- Brief projects into the Design Team and work closely with them to ensure SLA's are met
- Manage change requests between the Business Units and the Design Team while ensuring all requests are reasonable and delivered within the set SLA's
- Assist with job allocation and workload assignment between the design team
- Provide support to the wider Dicker Data Marketing team as required.
- Provide support on social media campaigns, and other marketing projects as required
- Forging and fostering strong working relationships with our internal Business Units and our Vendors
- Proofreading, copy editing, and checking all communications before sharing with the Business Units or publishing projects and/or campaigns
- Identify process improvements and work with management to implement if approved

**What you will need to succeed in the role**:

- Degree qualifications in a relevant field are preferred but not required
- Advanced communication skills (written, verbal, and presentation)
- High level of self-motivation, with resourcefulness and a willingness to learn
- Proficient knowledge of modern social media platforms (LinkedIn/Facebook/Twitter)
- Knowledge of public relations and marketing communications
- Intermediate MS Office Applications skills
- Demonstrated ability to work with key personnel across the business
- A proactive orientation, with attention to detail
- Respect, integrity, and the ability and desire to be a team player
- Excellent time management skills
