**The opportunity**
We have an exciting opportunity for a People & Culture Coordinator / People & Culture Operations Advisor to join us in Auckland. Joining our team will see you working closely with our leaders and the broader People & Culture team to support the moments that matter to our people. Each day will provide opportunities for you to grow your HR career and continue learning and developing; overall, you can expect to:
- Provide professional and accurate People & Culture advice across a range of generalist activities ensuring compliance with employment legislation and adherence to Beca policies
- Creating employment documentation from Letters of Employment to Employment variations
- Provide backup support for our other People & Culture Coordinators during peak times supporting with employment documentation generation and correspondence
- Promote learning and the sharing of knowledge and information across our People Advice team
- Support the delivery of People & Culture related projects on time and within budget
- Identify opportunities for innovation and process improvements.
- Network and actively participate with industry and professional bodies, keeping up to date with legislative developments and maintaining HR knowledge/best practices.
Aligned with the level of the role, we envision that the base salary component will be between NZ$60,000.00 - 75,000.00, depending on skills and experience. The position is full-time and permanent, with minimum guaranteed hours of 40 hours a week.
**About you**
You have at least two years of relevant post-qualification work experience working within a People & Culture team within a large corporate entity and have a strong understanding of New Zealand employment legislation. Ideally, you love to learn and share knowledge and are someone who can bring a fresh perspective. You will bring a positive, can-do attitude, passionate about creating and building connections across all levels of the organisation. Delivering professional, timely service is important to you. You love to get involved and support the team, actively contributing to our culture and displaying our company values.
