**Requirements**:
**The gig**:
Join the Figured lending team and make a significant impact for our farming customers by helping them access capital. As a Credit Officer, you'll play a critical role in managing relationships with customers, lenders and third-party providers, overseeing the end-to-end lending process.

**Your primary responsibilities will include**:

- Collaborating with farmers and their advisors: You will work closely with farmers and their trusted advisors to understand their unique financial needs, offering tailored solutions and guide them to the right decision.
- Assessing financial viability: Utilising our Figured platform and your financial acumen, you will analyse farm financials, assess risk, and determine the feasibility of funding options, ensuring that farmers can confidently pursue their ambitions.
- Preparing and providing reports for key banking partners: You will be responsible for creating reporting tools and working with our banking partners to highlight the financial health and performance of the farms seeking capital. Your reports will facilitate informed decision-making and foster strong relationships with our banking partners.
- Building and maintaining relationships: You will cultivate strong relationships with farmers, advisors, and stakeholders in the agricultural community, establishing yourself as a trusted partner and resource.

**To excel in this role, you should possess**:

- 1-2 years experience in a similar role in banking or financial services
- Strong understanding of financial statements and the ability to analyse financial data
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and stakeholders
- Detail-oriented approach with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and a drive for continuous learning
- Familiarity with credit monitoring and portfolio management practices is a bonus
