**About the role**
Talley’s Deep Sea division have an exciting Nelson based opportunity for a motivated and dedicated recruiter who is keen to build their career.
Working closely with vessel management this is an essential support role which will take responsibility for the full recruitment process from end to end, including advertising, interviewing, managing pre-employment screening and generating employment contracts.

This role is a permanent full-time position based in Nelson and there will be a requirement to have flexibility around days and hours of work as fishing is a 24x7 operation and vessel departures vary in days and times.

**Who are you?**
To be successful in this role, you’ll need to have exceptional organisational skills and be able to demonstrate the ability to plan and manage recruitment activities as well as a variety of other HR and administrative tasks.

With plenty of energy and a proactive approach that adapts to shifting priorities you’ll use your strong interpersonal skills to spot and engage talent and your excellent administrative skills to make sure all the details are correct, and paperwork completed.

Ability to work under pressure will be key to your success, as well as developing strong working relationships to ensure you understand the requirements of vessel operations, help put the right people in the right roles and ensure sailing timeframes are met.
