Our client, a well-respected public sector organisation, is seeking a dynamic Technical Product Lead to provide guidance and advice on various technical services, specifically for the products and services owned by Corporate Services.

As the Technical Product Lead, you will be responsible for defining the product development process and implementing best practices to deliver towards our client’s Digital Strategic Plan. In this role you must have exceptional stakeholder engagement, communication, and influencing abilities, bringing the team together in unity to achieve success in an exciting and dynamic environment.

This is a permanent opportunity located in Wellington Central.
- Expertise in cloud platforms and SaaS solutions such as Amazon Web Services (AWS) and SAP.
- Solid technical leadership skills backed by hands-on experience that achieve desired technical outcomes across the end-to-end service delivery life cycle.
- Experience in programming/software development and systems design, with the ability to provide specification and design of information systems to meet defined business needs.

To be successful in this role, you should have experience in:

- Product or service support, providing advice or training to users, and working with vendors and incident management teams to resolve technical issues.
- You should be able to build and maintain effective business relationships within the organisation and across several partners and vendors.
- Collaboration and communication are key in this role, and you should be comfortable communicating with a wide range of audiences on a range of complex issues.
- You should also have an understanding and appreciation of cultural issues and concerns, particularly Tikanga Maori.
- A solid understanding of Agile and Development methodologies would also be advantageous.
