We are looking for 4 Team Leaders with exceptional skills with the know-how of the industry to assist in the day to day running and onsite activities.

To be considered for this position youll ideally have industry experience including at least 6 months experience in either orchard, horticulture, agriculture or farming industry. You should have excellent communication skills (both written and spoken) and be able to work independently to reach goals.

**What does the role involve'**
- Directing and co-ordinating the workers and handling of any issues
- Reporting directly to the site manager daily
- Ensuring work is completed in a timely and effective manner to ensure company production goals are met.
- Completion and filing of work sheets.
- Guiding the workers with operation involvement as require during harvest periods.
- Maintaining a safe work environment and ensuring a high standard of practice for all workers.
- Ensure all tools and equipment are reviewed regularly to ensure staff safety.
- Ensuring knowledge is kept up to date, implementing and making suggestions for new practices and techniques
- Lead the team and instruct the workers to do the tasks as expected of them.
- Maintaining a safe working environment and practices for all workers

**What skills and experience are we looking for'**
- At least 6 months experience in Horticulture, Agriculture or farming industry or experience in managing a group/team of people in a workplace setting.
- You will be confident multi-tasking and will be calm under pressure.
- Well organised, goal focused, able to show initiative, multitask and make effective decisions.
- Able to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Class 1 Drivers licence or International Drivers license equivalent to New Zealand License

This is a full-time permanent position based in the wider Bay of Plenty region, requiring the successful applicant to work a minimum of 30 hours per week.

Pay rate starts at $29.66 per hour. The worksites are based in and around the Bay of Plenty region and as the role will require some travel, the successful applicant will have their own transport.

Applicants for this position should have NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa.
