**Duties will be as follows**:

- Manage and oversee all work undertaken on the orchards and report to senior management.
- Good staff handling skills and an understanding of issues
- Ensuring knowledge is kept up to date, implementing and making suggestions for new practices and techniques
- Direct and coordinate the Workers
- Plan and coordinate seasonal orchard activities and report it to the Site Manager
- Ensuring that development and harvesting are completed timely & effectively to ensure company production goals are met
- Recording and reporting of key orchard data when required
- Completion and filing of Work Sheets
- Guide the Workers with operational involvement as required in the harvest
- Ensure that standard and quality of workmanship and appearance of orchards is at a high level
- Lead the team and instruct the Workers to do the needful tasks expected of them
- Train staff where applicable ensuring staff are aware of grade standards, best practice techniques and products
- Maintaining a safe working environment and practices for all workers
- Review tools and equipment regularly to ensure staff safety
- Report to the Site Manager on daily basis
- Monitor the health and growth of crops.

Skills: Site Team Leader you need to have and thus Full Training will be given for the following once you join the Company:

- Gain an understanding of horticultural management
- You will gain knowledge of horticultural process
- Gain knowledge of company standards and safe work practices
- Gain knowledge of sustainable environmental management practices

**Job requirements**

Number of Position Available: 8 Site Team Leaders Location: Bay of Plenty Region Pay: $28 per hour Minimum: 40 hours and Maximum Hours will be 50 Per Week Will Be Required to Travel At Different Sites On Daily Basis Requirements Must Have Valid Class 1 Driver Licence or International Driver Licence equivalent to New Zealand Licence Must have Experience 2 years Experience in Orchard or Horticulture, Agriculture or Farming Industry
