As our team goes from strength to strength, we are looking for a Senior Power Systems Engineer to join us as part of our site based office in Auckland. We are a close-knit team that enjoys being part of the site based Engineering Services office culture which showcases our values of enjoyment, partnership, care and tenacity

As a team we directly interface with clients, contractors, and vendors to work on a diverse range of projects. In this role, every day will be different and expose you to new challenges, but overall, you can expect:

- Work across a variety of electrical systems and equipment, anything, and everything.
- Design and development of instrumentation and electrical systems
- Project management, procurement, and commissioning for existing and greenfield plants
- Scope/requirements definition and procurement of equipment, software & installation works
- Detailed design, contractual report writing & construction related services

Aligned with the level of the role, we envision that the base salary component will be between NZ$90,000.00 - $120,000.00, depending on skills and experience. The role is full time and permanent, with minimum guaranteed hours of 40 hours a week.

**About you**

You love to learn and share knowledge and are someone who can bring a fresh perspective. You are an experienced Senior Power Systems Engineer with a passion for design and problem-solving with an enquiring mind, the ability to problem solve and think laterally. You will have five or more years of relevant work experience working on a wide range of aspects of electrical systems. Ideally you have developed your skills in delivery and are committed to owning quality client outcomes. How you work is also important to us - we will value and reward your enthusiasm and motivation to continue to learn from your peers and more senior members of the team.
