We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented **Distribution Mapping and Administration Specialist** to join our team in **Auckland**. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the accurate and efficient distribution of our newspapers and publications. You will collaborate closely with various internal stakeholders to optimise distribution routes, analyse data, and provide administrative support to the distribution team.
**Responsibilities**:
- Match location data into the mapping software to measure time and distance calculations
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including distribution managers and logistics teams, to implement changes and streamline processes.
- Conduct regular audits of distribution routes, identifying any issues or discrepancies and implementing corrective measures.
- Provide administrative support to the distribution team, including data entry, record keeping, and report generation.
- Assist with inventory management, tracking supplies, and ordering materials as necessary.
- Monitor distribution performance metrics and provide regular reports to management, highlighting key insights and recommendations.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices related to distribution mapping and administration.
**Requirements**:
- Working understanding of ArcGIS mapping software and other mapping tools.
- Proven experience in distribution mapping, logistics, or related roles.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
- Strong organisational and time management abilities, with the capacity to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally.
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently as well as in a team environment.
- Experience with distribution or logistics software is desirable.
