**Te whiwhinga mahi | The Opportunity**
This is a strategic leadership role responsible for shaping and driving the national level health and safety management system which includes the development and implementation of national health and safety policies, standards and procedures and an integrated occupational health safety (OHS) software system to support this.
**Ngā pūkenga me ngā wheako | Skills and experience**
- Experience needed to lead the Te Whatu Ora Health & Safety Systems in an environment that demands intricate problem-solving and critical thinking, and to hold the accountability for recommending key performance indicators and providing tools/mechanisms for the review of any health and safety management systems, including OHS software, used for health and safety management of workers across Te Whatu Ora.
- Reporting on programme and/or project progress against objectives, outcomes, and outputs.
- Previous responsibility at a leadership level for developing, maintaining, and influencing mutually beneficial relationships and partnerships.
- Developing and implementing a Health & Safety Management System Framework in a large organisation - to ISO45001 or ACC AEP.
- Implementing an integrated OHS software system in a large organisation.
