**About the Role**

We have an exciting leadership opportunity for a **Speech and Language Therapist Practice Supervisor** to lead our team of enthusiastic and passionate SLTs within the **Community SLT team**. This **12-month fixed-term** **full-time** position is based between Greenlane Clinical Centre and Kahui Marino (Pt Chevalier Clinical hub), combines professional and people leadership, service development and quality improvements, with clinical practice.

**About the Team/Service/ Location**

Our Community SLT team incorporates both the Community Rehabilitation SLT team and the Allied Health Community SLT team. We offer therapy to clients with a range of communication and swallowing disorders due to a wide variety of conditions, and services are provided in the community, home, clinic and telehealth settings.

**About you**

As the ideal person for this role, you will have the following skills and attributes:

- New Zealand Registered SLT with a current Annual Practicing Certificate
- Full, clean NZ Drivers’ License
- 7 + years clinical experience; mentoring and coaching experience desirable
- Appropriate supervision training or progress towards completion
- Excellent clinical reasoning skills and use of evidence informed practice
- At least Level 3 or progress towards Level 4 VFSS competencies desirable
- Ability to work collaboratively with a range of professional groups in a multidisciplinary, bicultural environment
- Effective time management, prioritisation and organisation skills
- A flexible, pro-active approach with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
