**About the role**

As the Quality Assurance Coordinator, you will be an integral part of the team.. You will need to be hands on to understand the business fully and enable you to shape the quality processes and systems. This will also help you to build a great team as the business continues to grow.The role requires a high level of attention to detail and a thorough understanding of food safety regulations. You will ensure that all products meet thehigh standards for quality and safety, from raw ingredients to the finished product.

To achieve this, you will work closely with the production and packaging teams, as well as with suppliers, to conduct regular quality control checks and ensure that all necessary documentation is completed accurately and in a timely manner. You will need to be proactive in identifying any issues and proposing solutions to maintain our quality standards.

You will also be responsible for identifying areas for improvement in quality assurance processes and implementing solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. This will involve working with cross-functional teams to implement new processes or procedures.

**Some key responsibilities in the role include**:

- Work within production to lead quality systems and provide production support when and where necessary.
- Oversee, drive, and maintain Quality Systems and processes including documentation.
- Host and prepare for internal and external audits.
- Provide sound quality advice to the business and support decision making.
- Work with production and customers to address any non-conformances.
- Be able to work cross-functionally to lead quality products such as GS1 recalls
- Positive attitude and lead on Health & Safety throughout the workforce
