**The UCOL Student Success Team has an exciting opportunity available**

We are seeking two Librarians to provide a critical role in enhancing the information literacy and research capabilities of UCOL Manawatū ākonga and kaimahi. This position is designed for an individual with broad expertise across specialist library disciplines, who can provide tailored support for academic programs while ensuring effective library services that meet the evolving needs of the UCOL community in Manawatū.
- Be outstanding at providing an open and welcoming service to all students, staff, and the wider community
- Be organised, reliable, and a real team player
- Have proficiency in using library management systems and digital tools for research and teaching
- Have a strong knowledge of research methodologies and academic writing skills
- Tertiary or professional qualification in Library or equivalent experience (Level 5)
- Ability to support and advocate for the use of te reo, tikanga, and mātauranga Māori in the workplace

Applicants for this position should have NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa and may be required to undergo pre-employment checks, which may include completing NZ Police Vetting.
