**Location**: Auckland (work-related travel outside the region required at times)

**Remuneration**: $34.00 - $36.00 per hour
About Han Chang Foods Limited
Han Chang Foods Limited is an established Korean food manufacturer specialising in tofu
production and Korean specialty food products. We are seeking an experienced Supply and Distribution Manager to join our growing team.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
**Supply Chain Management**:

- Plan and organise storage and distribution of food products across domestic and

international markets
- Develop and implement purchasing, storage and distribution strategies
- Negotiate contracts with suppliers to meet quality, cost and delivery requirements
- Monitor and review inventory systems to maintain optimal stock levels

**Import/Export Operations**:

- Manage importation of raw materials, particularly soybeans and specialty ingredients
- Ensure compliance with MPI regulations and food safety standards
- Coordinate with overseas suppliers and freight forwarders
- Oversee customs clearance processes and maintain import documentation

**Distribution and Logistics**:

- Coordinate distribution networks to domestic retailers and international export

markets
- Manage relationships with logistics providers and distribution partners
- Monitor delivery schedules and ensure timely customer order fulfillment

**Compliance and Business Development**:

- Ensure all supply chain activities comply with New Zealand food safety regulations
- Maintain product traceability systems throughout the supply chain
- Identify new suppliers and distribution opportunities to support business growth
- Prepare reports on supply chain performance and cost optimization

Minimum Requirements

**Qualifications**:

- Tertiary level qualification in supply chain management, business administration, or

related field
**Experience**:

- Over 3 years of relevant post-qualification experience in supply chain management,

logistics, or distribution operations
- Experience in food industry operations
- Knowledge of import/export procedures and regulations

**Skills**:

- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Proficiency in relevant computer software and inventory management systems
- Valid New Zealand drivers licence for work-related travel

Terms and Conditions
- Competitive hourly rate of $34.00 - $36.00 per hour based on experience
- Full-time position with 40 guaranteed hours per week
- Monday to Friday schedule with occasional overtime as required
- Travel allowances provided for work-related travel
