Ko mātou tēnei | This is Us - Customer Assist Consultants are there to provide great customer experiences by having meaningful conversations with our customers to assist with debt repayments and aid recovery through positive and supportive actions, in the early stages of default. - Here at BNZ we embrace flexible working, have a strong focus on career development and progression, as well as a range of great benefits, including 6 weeks annual leave This is a fantastic opportunity to gain the support BNZ provides with personal and professional development and progression opportunities. - Mō te Tūranga | About the Role - This is a full-time role; Monday - Friday, operating between the hours of 10am and 6pm. This is a 6 month fixed term opportunity. - We sat down with our Team Manager - who let us know the following about the role: - What are 5 day to day tasks the person in this role will complete?- Answering inbound and making outbound calls- Generating written correspondence- Reviewing accounts and deciding on the next course of action- Negotiating repayment arrangements- Analysing financial information - What is the most exciting thing about this opportunity? - This is a chance to join a great team and provide assistance to secured and unsecured customers in arrears, all while learning and growing. - What is the most challenging thing about this opportunity? - Customers feel supported by you and the Bank by seeking to understand each Customer's unique circumstances to find solutions to get the Customer back on track and limit losses. - What attributes will this person display in order to be successful in this role? - This role requires self-motivation and professionalism. To be successful you need to have high level communication skills, and be able to manage work with mínimal supervision. The following experience is essential: - Good understanding of unsecured and secured products and BNZ systems- Experience in previous customer contact/ service roles- Experience in the Banking/Financial services industry - Nau Mai ki te Pēke o Aotearoa | Come to the Bank of New Zealand - Ehara taku toa i te toa takitahi, engari he toa takitini" - Success is not the work of an individual, but the work of many.”_ Closing Date: 13 July 2025
