Ko mātou tēnei | This is Us We have an exciting opportunity for a couple of Bereavement Associate Consultants to join us and make it easy for people faced with bereavement at difficult and stressful time. This role is responsible for assisting the team to connect with families and executors of deceased BNZ customers to support the settlement of estates. These are 12 month fixed term positions. Mō te Tūranga | About the Role We spoke with the Team Leader - Bereavement Assistance and they gave us some great insight on what to expect with this role: What are some of the day to day tasks the person in this role will complete? - Manage deceased customer cases, including management of a deceased customer’s products and services including payments for funerals, safeguarding the account from improper use, and supporting the execution of the estate efficiently and accurately - Consider surviving partners financial situation, and if vulnerable circumstances are identified, escalate and/or refer to appropriate team, such as BNZ Support team, BNZ Care What is the team culture and environment like? What attributes will this person display in order to be successful in this role? This role is well suited for those with previous customer service experience.
