As a Product Owner you will be responsible for the strategic development of products or services to meet the needs of our Māori customers as we deliver our Health Sector Strategy to drive improved health outcomes for Māori. You will represent the voice of the business and the customer in the development of products and services to be delivered to ensure they successfully align with our overall strategy, roadmap and requirements.

In this role you will be the conduit between kaupapa Māori solution external design teams and ACC, helping us to shape and deliver innovative new services. You will work with the Product Manager and will develop, implement and maintain a vision for our kaupapa Māori services, ensuring the vision is clearly communicated and understood by the external and internal teams and key stakeholders.

**What we are looking for from you to be successful in this role**
- Previous experience in the health sector or in developing products/services within a health and kaupapa Māori environment.
- Mātauranga Māori and cultural capability knowledge.
- Kōrero te reo Māori
- Proven experience in a Product Owner role or similar experience.
- Experience working with a customer-centric mindset to drive service improvement for kiritaki Māori (Māori clients).
- Ability to think strategically about business objectives and shaping effective business strategies to help us achieve the kaupapa vision.
- Sound problem solving and robust decision-making skills, with the ability to make decisions in complex and challenging situations.
- Strong relationship management, influencing and negotiation skills.

We offer an attractive salary of $112k to $135k depending on experience, plus 9% super is on offer, along with an opportunity to grow and develop your career in one of New Zealand’s leading government agencies
