Mō te tūranga - About the role
As a Product Owner in Technologies - Personal and Funds, you will be responsible for curating and managing a roadmap and backlog for our delivery squads, driving initiatives that transform the business and deliver exceptional customer experiences.

**You will have the opportunity to**:
Deliver strategic, customer focused outcomes for your portfolio.
Prioritise the roadmap and backlog of opportunities and tasks in line with strategic priorities.
Maximise value of effort and output of the scrum teams you work with.
Assist business analysts, testing, project management and delivery teams to align our strategic and business goals and our customer needs.
Work with a vast group of Stakeholders, communicating on budgets and estimates for work and progress on delivery items
Continuously improve agile practices across the portfolio.

**What might a 'day in the life' look like for a Product Owner**:
End to end ownership of the product
Create, prioritise, sequence and maintain the Product Backlog
Assist with the elaboration of Themes, Features and Epics into User Stories that are granular enough to be achieved in a single sprint
Convey the vision and goals at the beginning of every Quarter and Sprint and ensure the Squad remains aligned to these
Review progress and reprioritise or resequence any work that is not complete
Engage customers and stakeholders to ensure the Squad is working on the right things, and course correct if needed
Actively participate in daily standups, Sprint Planning, Showcases and Retrospective ceremonies
Remove roadblocks and manage alignment and interdependencies with other product owners or teams/squads
Liaise with Tribe and Chapter leadership and other POs to ensure the squad has the support required to succeed
Advocate the squad mission and refine it with the Tribe Lead where required
Share the progress of the squad with the wider organisation
Execution of the squad mission
Co-develop the squad mission with the Portfolio
Lead and refine the mission where required
Break down the work, prioritise and sequence
Unify the squad to support the mission and its delivery
Re-prioritise or re-sequence any work that is not complete or ‘Done’
Share the progress of the squad with the wider organisation
Remove roadblocks and manage alignment and interdependencies with other product owners or teams/squads Manage risk

We are looking for an experienced Product Owner who is ready for the next challenge.

- Strong leadership experience, including a track record of delivering outcomes, and achieving results through others.
- Proven skill at delivering value for complex initiatives.
- Experience working in a real agile environment.
- Continuous drive to simplify processes, and strong focus on continuous improvement.
- Strong awareness of the banking and finance industry, trends and threats (technology, products, regulatory environment, competitors, innovations).
