Lecturer or Senior Lecturer in Cognitive and Experimental Psychology
Suitably qualified persons for this position will support the School of Psychology's goal of strengthening our programme offerings on the Manawatū campus. Applicants must have a doctoral degree in Psychology, with tertiary experience in teaching; independent research would be expected at Senior Lecturer level and an advantage at Lecturer level. The appointee will be expected to teach at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, and to supervise Master's theses and Doctorates.
Successful applicants will have a commitment to developing a research programme that is manageable within the resources available on the Manawatū campus, as well as having the potential to attract external funding. Our School is well known for its applied focus and the experimental group has strengths in social/affective neuro
- and cognitive sciences. Priority will be given to applicants whose background and research platform are a good fit with our profile.

Lecturer or Senior Lecturer in Critical Health Psychology
**The successful applicant will have**:
- interests in critical health and critical theory psychology,
- a commitment to developing a research programme that complements and extends existing work in the School
- the potential to attract external funding
- the ability to dialogue effectively across a variety of perspectives related to health but have expertise in critical approaches.
Applicants must have a doctoral degree in Psychology or a related health discipline, with some experience in tertiary teaching and an active research programme. The appointee will be expected to teach at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, and to supervise health psychology practicums, and research theses at Doctoral and Masterate level. They will join a team of collaborative, creative and critical scholars.
Collaborative teaching and research, involving colleagues working for Massey University's Psychology programmes offered across our campuses will be a priority. Staff may be required by the Head of School to teach for short periods on any campus of the University.
The position can be located on any three of our beautiful campuses - Albany (Auckland), Manawatū (Palmerston North) or Wellington.
