Reporting into People Lead - Employment Relations New Zealand Food you will be responsible for providing strategic leadership of the Woolworths NZ Limited Employment Relations function. You will provide expert advice and support for employment investigations and disciplinaries, as well as coaching and advice on employment related matters such as policies, procedures, and team member misconduct.
**About the Role | Mō te Tūranga**
As Product Owner Employment Relations, your role is to ensure the whole ER team is equipped, motivated and aligned in order to provide the best possible advice and support to the Woolworths NZ business in order to influence and positively impact our team's experience.
You will also be required to:
- Lead and manage the team of ER specialists and advisors, ensuring they are supported and motivated to provide a consistently high level of quality engagement and employee relations support to the business, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Take ownership of case management systems, principles and processes to ensure that cases are managed to a high standard, providing consistency and reliability to NZ businesses and protecting Woolworths NZ from legal and reputational risks.
- Develop, socialise and maintain the strategic framework for how employment relations support is provided at Woolworths NZ
- Coach and develop the ER specialists and advisors and other People team members in relevant employment relations skills such as investigation, conflict resolution, stakeholder management, advocacy and advising
- Maintain excellent communication of progress (or flag any roadblocks) with key stakeholders, in the form of regular updates, reports and people compliance meetings.
**About You | Mōu**
You will be an effective communicator and have the ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders. You will have excellent knowledge and understanding of relevant Employment legislation and significant experience and exposure to employee relations case management. You will come with strong data analysis and interpretation skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights that can assist stakeholders to make meaningful improvements and change. A good base of administrative skills is required for this role along with an ability to multitask in a busy environment.
