We are looking for a Network Automation Test Engineer for one of our clients in Hamilton, New Zealand.

**Short Description**:
Suppose your passion is to work with network infrastructure,IXIA & Spirent and scripting languages. Then this role is for you.

**Experience and Skill**:
Experience: 5-8 years
- Advance knowledge in Ethernet switching, IP routing protocols, network management, and security required
- Hands-on experience of IP Layer 2 & 3 protocol testing
- Experience in network infrastructure and hardware testing
- Experience with Traffic generator tools like IXIA & Spirent
- Test Automation Frameworks, tools and scripting languages (Python, Robot framework)
- Test Engineering Knowledge: Prepare Test Plans, Test Execution, Define Network Topologies, Understand Complex Customer Networks, Good Automation Skills
- Develop test plans for features at systems testing level by incorporation Solution/use-case based scenarios, events to test, feature functionality to cover functionality guides
- Run tests cases manually using remote lab devices, report the test results in tool, verify defects and follow up on defects
