We are currently looking for a Maintenance Fitter to join our busy Hunua Plant, Papakura, Auckland to manage the maintenance and development of our specialised manufacturing equipment.

**Ko tā mātou mahi - Our Role**

This role is paramount to the operation and efficiency of the plant. Undertaking regular repairs and service of the plant and machinery. This role needs someone who likes to be hands-on and who will enjoy the challenge of managing the maintenance and repairs.
- Monday to Friday (& every second Saturday)
- Rotating shifts between Days and Nights
- Overtime allowances applies after 50 hours.

You must be mechanically minded and have a good understanding of mechanical processes and issues. You will be a proactive, motivated, and self-managed person with a real focus on continuous improvement. You will be working closely with plant operators and management so excellent communication and customer skills is essential.

You’re an excellent problem solver with superb diagnostic and communication skills. You’re naturally flexible and adapt well to the different tasks that present themselves each day. You will be successful in this role because you thrive on working independently and are proactive with a resourceful work ethic. You have a trade qualification and some solid practical experience as a fitter, turner or machinist, particularly within a manufacturing environment
