What's the job?

Intergroup are New Zealand's Infrastructure and Industrial Services specialists, delivering services in waste management, industrial coatings and infrastructure. Reporting to the Workshop Manager, you'll be responsible for maintenance fitting skills and knowledge for the daily upkeep of vehicles, plant and machinery with mechanical maintenance skills in troubleshooting, attending to breakdowns, welding, pneumatics & hydraulics. You will have experience in working with high pressure pumps and accessories.

This will be a full-time role 40 hours a week Monday to Friday.

To be successful in this role you will:

- Hold a relevant trade qualification in Mechanical Engineering (Fitter/Turner) OR
- 3 Years of relevant work experience as a Fitter/Turner
- a Digger endorsement would be an advantage.
- Have general machining as well as welding and general fitting skills.
- Have the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
- Be able to demonstrate a positive 'can do' attitude, and be flexible in the duties undertaken
- Be committed to consistently producing high quality work.
- Be physically fit and presentable
- Have good time management & sound communication skills
