The Compliance & Industry Analyst supports the Payments System Compliance team by conducting high quality analysis, research, tasks and recommendations. This is a hybrid with three days in the office and can be based in Auckland or Wellington. **Mō te Tūranga | About the Role** **We sat down with our Head of Payments System Compliance (who you'd report to), and she let us know the following about the role**: **What are some day to day tasks the person in this role will complete?** - Analysis of changing Payment Card Scheme and Industry compliance regulations and policies, providing assessment and recommended course of action options - Research and analysis tasks to drive policy improvements, process simplification, great change management outcomes and improve data quality. - Analysis and documentation of existing processes and systems, recommending simplification and improvement options that deliver effective business outcomes. **What attributes will this person display in order to be successful in this tūranga?** You'll be a team player with a passion for analysis, who will bring excellent communication skills, a strong attention to detail and a drive for continuous improvement. You will also possess the following: - Proven ability to research and analyse facts, numbers, processes, rule change impacts, and develop well-constructed reporting, opinions, and recommendations. - Strong planning and organisational skills with an ability to manage competing demands. - Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to speak to both technical and business concerns. - Well-developed facilitation skills to run workshops and meetings to discuss and gather requirements and feedback. **What is the team culture and environment like?** One of the highlights of working for BNZ is the culture We're hardworking, but also very supportive and you'll find that we go out of our way to help each other.
