Are you an enthusiastic marketer keen to work on behaviour change campaigns that reach into the community? Do you want to champion communities who experience the greatest health challenges and inequities to make sure the marketing we deliver is evidence-based and has the audiences' needs at the heart of it?

You may have worked for government, an agency, a non-government organisation (NGO), or in the commercial sector. You will be able to demonstrate strategic thinking, and enjoy a challenge. You will have experience in managing ambiguity and shaping work, collaborative campaign planning, development and delivery, including contract and budget management.
Experience with marketing to Māori and/or Pasifika audiences and evidence of cultural competence is highly desirable.
We engage with audiences through digital and social channels. Therefore, skills and experience delivering digital and social campaigns and managing social channels is also something we are looking for.

We lead and deliver innovative and high quality national health promotion initiatives. We work with partners including iwi, researchers and academics, community groups, public health advocates, and others who are aligned to our goals.We acknowledge the special relationship between Māori and the Crown under Te Tiriti o Waitangi and is committed to recognise and respect the articles of Te Tiriti. Health Promotion encourages and supports staff to learn and enjoy te Reo Māori, waiata, and increase knowledge of Te Ao Māori.
