Under direction from the Trades Resource Manager & Contract Services Manager, the Senior Trade Co-ordinator is responsible for a number of functions aimed at ensuring there is adequate Subcontract resource that is trained, experienced, supported and developed to meet operational delivery requirements.

Specifically, the Senior Trade Co-ordinator will manage the sourcing/selection of subcontractors for works and monitor the performance/improvement of all subcontractors whilst ensuring the terms and conditions of subcontractor agreements are met. The Senior Trade Co-ordinator will in consultation with the customer and other relevant parties liaise and assist in the development of all resourcing for programmes for planned works to be implemented under the contract.

**Nga Pūkenga Motuhake | Important Skills**
- Technical and commercial competencies in domestic building. Prior experience in a similar role would be well regarded.
- Experience in managing a team of subcontract companies.
- Familiarity with managing information within a database environment.
- Extensive experience in the delivery of contracts where subcontractors are used to deliver services.
- Experience in monitoring and evaluating the performance of subcontractors.
- Knowledge of work planning and scheduling procedures.
- Experience in the supervision and monitoring of subcontractors.
