**About the role**:
The Transport Specialist maintains and expands relationships with strategically important end user customers within the Transport and Automotive channels. This specialist is responsible for achieving sales budgets and assigned strategic account objectives.
You will represent the entire range of company products and services to assigned customers, charged with its own territory this role is designed to ensure assigned customers’ needs and company expectations are met. This role is based in XXX and comes with a fully stocked van with tools to use at home.
**Responsibilities**:
- Create user demand for the Transport/Automotive channel with an end user focus
- Managing the end user experience within the Transport channel and region
- Sales & Goal achievement as per strategic plans
- Marketing and Sales execution to the end user
- Partner effectively with other sales teams to deliver the best outcome
- Regularly participate in joint ride days
- Sales and Transport/automotive industry experience is ideal
- A passion for the automotive/transport industry
- Ability to seek out and convert opportunities - must have a "hunter" mentality.
- High level of autonomy - must be highly organised and self-motivated.
- Trade background/ Hands on experience with tools is desirable.
- Full driver's license with excellent driving record.
