**THE OPPORTUNITY**:
Here is a great development opportunity to join our radio team in Palmerston North.

This is a dual role hosting The Hits Manawatu 9am-3pm weekday show and managing the NZME Client & Content Solutions (CCS) portfolio for Palmerston North.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITITES**:

- **On-air duties**: You will work with The Hits Network team to create an engaging, informative and entertaining local radio show. This will be a combination of live and voice-tracking, judged according to the CCS workload.
- **Client and content solutions**:As a part of the Manawatu team, you will work with the regional General Sales Manager and Sales Team to develop proactive client concepts. You will manage station and client activations or sponsorship duties and co-ordinate the NZME casual team including rostering, feedback and onsite activations.
- **Promotions and profile**:Visit clients with the commercial and/or promotions team to support campaigns and enhance The Hits brand.

**ABOUT YOU**:

- A background in broadcast media is preferred.
- Ideally minimum 2 years’ experience in an on-air role and/or promotions position.
- Experience in NexGen or Zetta.
- Top-notch organisational skills, a great understanding of music and entertainment along with the eagerness to seek and deliver local content.
