CablePrice is New Zealand's exclusive authorised dealer for Hitachi Construction Machinery, Bell Equipment, McCloskey International, HSC Cranes, Montabert, MB Crushers and Isuzu Industrial and Marine Engines. Furthermore, CablePrice is the authorised sales, parts and service dealer for the full range of Mercedes-Benz, Freightliner and Fuso trucks in the South Island, and the authorised sales, parts and service dealer for Isuzu Trucks in Wellington, and as of recently the full range offered IVECO from their light commercial, 4x4, right up to heavy duty on and off hi-way truck range in Palmerston North and Hasting.
**About the Opportunity**
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Parts Specialist in our busy Palmerston North Branch. Responsible for providing the highest level of customer service, in this role you will be:
- Interpreting and processing customer requests
- Providing service to internal customers for parts
- Picking and packing parts and components
- Sourcing parts from other sources as required
- Utilising your highly developed communication skills
- Exercising your strong computer skills, data entry accuracy and attention to detail
- Highly organised in your approach to your work
You will also be hardworking, customer focused and cool under pressure, allowing you to priorities tasks in a busy workplace. Knowledge and/or experience with commercial vehicles or heavy equipment is an advantage, and a current driver's license is necessary.
You will have:
- Excellent customer service skills
- Proven organisational and planning skills
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills both verbal & written
- The ability to positively engage with and influence all parts of the business
- High level of computer literacy
- The ability to perform under pressure and to prioritise and multitask in a time driven environment
- Demonstrated problem solving, logistics and/or service experience.
