We are looking for a well-matched person to join this fun and dynamic team, who can support the objective of adding value to the HR services provided to our valued clients.

This role will see you working as part of a team on projects and client strategy, but also work autonomously and proactively with clients in a consultant’s capacity. On a daily basis, you will be responsible for HR consulting, client management and strategy, leadership and culture, recruitment, and utilising the HR system effectively.

The successful applicant will have a good understanding of HR practices and how they work to add value to a business. You need to have a good understanding of people, and perhaps have a knack for sales and business development. You will have access to an experienced and competent wider team who can support with the more hands-on technical side of HR, including ER, employee management, change management, learning and development, organisational development, health and safety, culture, engagement, remuneration, recognition and benefits.

The HR exposure you have available to you is endless, and you will hugely enhance your HR career by learning a lot incredibly quickly.

The successful applicant must be an efficient problem solver, have the ability to deal with ambiguity, be highly organised and have the capability to deal with clients with varying levels of experience with HR.

Building rapport and building key relationships with customers and clients is a must; there is a strong service focus, so excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.

You will report into a supportive director and founder, who values your professional development and growth. Development is encouraged and supported - innovative training and workshops are run to keep you up to date and continuously growing in your career. You will be learning from a team with a wealth of HR knowledge.

Company culture is important and you will be joining a fun, engaging (and brand new) office based in the CBD, welcoming genuine and ambitious individuals.

There may be a little travel involved as although most clients are Auckland-based, there are others based in Wellington and Christchurch etc.
