**The Role**:
We are looking for a business leader to join our retail store leadership team at our Hype DC Ponsonby Store
Hype DC is an Iconic Australian brand, with a collection of specially curated premium, limited and exclusive sneakers. As a business leader at Hype DC having a consumer obsessed mentality is key.
Your role will be to mentor and coach a team of passionate sneaker enthusiasts to deliver on our brand mission every day.
Our store leaders are accountable for leading and driving a team to deliver on sales & KPIs by providing memorable experiences and best in class service to our consumers. Along with your passion and hunger to succeed, this senior store leadership role will set you up to take on that dream area/multi-site role.

How you will contribute to?
**1. High performance culture**:
- Lead by example as a business coach.
- Work towards business objectives and strategies.
- Deliver and exceed sales and KPIs. Targets and comps.
- Engage and motivate a large team +20, to achieve results in KPI’s & added value goals.
- Grow internal pipeline through consistency in training and development.
- Training and succession planning across the network.
- Commit to daily disciplines and accountability across team divisions.
- Identify areas of opportunities and urgency through actions.
- Conduct business walkthrough’s with brand representatives and support office.
2. Memorable experiences
- Passionate about bringing to life, world-class retail experiences.
- Streamline instore and omni-channel experiences with attention to detail.
- Create community through Hype DC’s LIMITD loyalty program.
- Demonstrate what it means to deliver a sustainable shoe care experience with Sneakerlab.
3. Sneaker authenticator
- Story telling through strong store presentation and visual merchandising excellence.
- A brand ambassador who builds a team of individuals who express inclusivity.
- Excited about product knowledge and developing technical skills for shoe fitting.
- Provide product knowledge training to the team to enable them to deliver BEST IN CLASS experiences to our consumers
- Disrupt the Retail Sneaker market by developing a team of Sneaker Authenticators and premium Hype DC brand ambassadors
4. Operational excellence
- Oversee daily operations of inventory management.
- Attention to detail with back of house standards.
- Work alongside Stock manager and stock assistants to maximise inventory intergity.
- Loss prevention compliance and committment to excellence.
- Inventory management on product and potential branding partners.
- Closely manage wage costs to weekly wage targets.
- Empowered to recruit and onboard talent.
