The overarching purpose of a Community Funding Team is to coordinate and oversee the Council's contestable community funding schemes. This includes providing advice, guidance and support to staff across the unit who complete funding assessments for Council community funding grants.

You'll understand the importance of working in better partnership with local boards and the community, as you use your natural ability to communicate and build strong relationships.

You'll be a capable leader with first-rate communication skills, both verbal and written. You'll come to us with experience utilising community funding, along with a good knowledge of the structure and processes of not-for-profit organisations.
