Waitaha Canterbury Radiology Service prides ourselves in keeping
up with technology while maintaining our patient focused care and management
skills.
Our
CT service covers Ashburton, Burwood and Christchurch Health Campus. Hours of work are mainly Monday to Friday
0800 -1630 to meet service cover.
We are currently looking for a MIT Clinical Team Leader for CT to
provide leadership to our team working across 5 sites.
The CT
Team Leader is responsible for managing the CT team to deliver
an effective and efficient medical imaging service that supports and maintain
patient flow and meets the ongoing changing needs of our Radiology Service
across a number of locations.
**In this role, you will be responsible for**:
- An efficient and effective CT imaging service
- Managing the CT MIT team to deliver a service that
is integrated with the wider Radiology and Hospital Services
- Patient is the focus of the service, with a best for patient, best
for system approach
- Managing daily, weekly workload across multiple locations and
sites, meeting the production plan requirements
- Meeting patient needs within agreed triaged referral timeframes
- Ensuring standardised, quality and consistent imaging and patient
care is provided at all times across all locationsYour skills will include:
- Experience working in a large organisation
- 3 years - experience in managing and leading a team
- Successful experience implementing process change
- Excellent communication skills
- Ongoing commitment to continuous quality improvement in the
delivery of the CT service within the context of the wider radiology
service and Waitaha Canterbury.Essential
A New Zealand registered MIT with a minimum of five years - post qualification experience,
including CT and leadership experience.
