Medical Bariatric Dietitian, Te Whatu Ora

Te Whatu Ora Counties Manukau is launching a new Medical Bariatric Service - a generational opportunity to design and champion an innovative, equitable, patient-centric service from the ground up. The programme supports metabolic health and remission of type 2 diabetes where possible. This service will be co-designed with cross-sector stakeholders to integrate family units, engage whaanau and community supports, all of which is culturally led and governed by the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi/The Treaty of Waitangi.
We are looking for an experienced Dietitian with Bariatric, Diabetes, Obesity Medicine or equivalent background, and a passion for quality patient care, academic research and healthcare transformation. This position represents an exciting opportunity to work within a multi-disciplinary team to provide complex obesity management including medically supervised low-calorie liquid diet.
Salary and conditions of service will be in accordance with the New Zealand PSA Award Agreement.
Applicants must be registered with the Dietitians Board of New Zealand and hold a current NZ full driver's license.
