Associate Professor in Dairy Technology

Enhance and deliver an effective program of teaching, research, and publication in Dairy Science and Technology.
- Undertake an effective programme of teaching, research and publication.
- Engage in enterprise activities and pursue external funding opportunities to support research initiatives.
- Provide administrative and professional service to the University and broader academic communities.
- Offer academic leadership within the School, College, University, and wider discipline.
**Qualifications and Experience**:
- A nationally recognised leader in research and publication in dairy technology.
- A substantial track record in developing and delivering dairy science and technology discoveries across academia, research organisations, and industry.
- Deep understanding of trends, challenges, and opportunities in dairy science and technology within both the New Zealand and international contexts.
- Proven experience working with industry to provide solutions to industry needs.
- Relevant PhD (or equivalent) or another post-graduate qualification.
- Demonstrated teaching and research experience in a university or tertiary teaching environment.
- Experienced in the use of electronic and online technologies in blended and distance teaching delivery.
- It would also be an advantage to have experience and capability to adapt and contribute to other aspects of food manufacture, and product development.
