**Mō te tūnga |** **About the role**:
As an IST Customer Experience Squad Lead, you will be part of a dynamic and friendly team that provides high-quality information technology support and services to the staff of the New Zealand Parliament. You will engage with a wide range of customers across the parliamentary precinct, ensuring their IT needs are met in a timely and professional manner. You will also collaborate with other IST units and external providers to deliver solutions that enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of parliamentary operations. Here are a couple of tasks that you'll get involved with;
- Proactively assists, implements, and communicates concerns and policies among management and team members.
- Provides day to day operational management and direction to squad members.
- Proactively provides input on workplan.
- Provides professional development, coaching and support to squad members.

- Actively contributed to a 'one team' culture
- Effective planning, coordination, and time-management skills, with ability to multi-task, prioritise workflows and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, with the ability to compose clear written communications
- Strong relationship management and interpersonal skills and ability to work with a wide range of people and organisations
- Experience in facilitating and leading groups
- Experience in case management
- Familiar with the ITIL framework and preferably certified to ITIL Foundation levels
- Sound knowledge of risk management principles and practices.
- Strong written and oral communication skills, including the ability to present complex issues clearly and concisely to a wide variety of audiences.

The starting salary range for this role is $100,000 - $118,000 per annum. Appointments will be based on skills and experience (please note, the full salary range extends beyond this to allow for tenure progression).
