Someone who can roll up their sleeves, dive into the detail and make sure our people processes are working as they should - from onboarding, and policies to performance and day-to-day problem solving. This role is about being in the thick of it, helping managers navigate challenges and making sure our employees feel supported and set up for success.

**What you'll be doing**:
**Core HR Delivery**:

- Be the first point of contact for all people-related queries; from contracts to policies to pay and performance
- Guide managers through key moments in the employee journey -performance reviews, learning and development, exits, engagement surveys and more)
- Manager and continuously improve HR processes to make sure they are efficient, consistent and employee friendly
- Support the offboarding processes included exit interviews, handovers and compliance with ISO27001 requirements
- Prepare people data insights for leadership and board reporting

**Recruitment & Onboarding**:

- Manage end-to-end recruitment for open roles, working with hiring managers to scope, post, screen and coordinate interviews
- Lead onboarding processes to make sure new hires feel supported, informed, have clear 30,60,90 day plans to be set up for success from day one

**People Partnering**:

- Partner closely with leaders to support team dynamics, coaching them on people management and providing support where needed
- Help navigate employee relations issues calmly and constructively, ensuring fairness consistency and compliance
- Maintain a clear, up to date understanding of employment law and workplace obligations relevant to our locations

**Culture & Engagement**:

- Support initiatives that strengthen our culture, engagement, recognition and team connection ensuring we have the right initiatives in place to support a high performance culture

**Requirements**:
**About you**:

- 8+ years of experience as an HR Generalist or at HR Business Partner level
- Experience working in a global workforce, interfacing with teams in the United States
- Experience with US PEO, 401k, Medical Benefits and insurance
- Experience managing the full employee lifecycle - from recruitment and onboarding through to performance, development and offboarding
- Solid knowledge of employment legislation (NZ) and familiarity with US employment rules
- Sound understanding of NZ health and safety legislation and obligations
- Ability to design, implement and operationalise company strategic plans across performance management frameworks for the Company
- Accountability for the People and Culture strategy for the Company
- You are a doer, hands-on, operational but can also zoom out and see the bigger picture with the ability to align and balance people initiatives with business outcomes
- Strong attention to detail and ability to handle multiple priorities with accuracy
- Proven experience handling sensitive matters with confidentiality and care
