We're looking for a compassionate and dependable Support Worker Kaimahi to join our team and walk alongside tāngata whai i te ora on their journey to wellness, independence, and connection. This permanent full-time role reports to the Clinical Nurse Specialist & Team Lead - Ngā Parirau, and plays a key role in supporting quality, values-led care across our services.

As Support Worker Kaimahi, you'll:

  • Awhi and manaaki tāngata whai i te ora to strengthen their wellbeing and independence
  • Support daily living, personal goals, and participation in whānau and community life
  • Encourage hauora routines and assist with medication, safety, and wellbeing plans
  • Record progress, contribute to SNAP assessments, and support ongoing reviews
  • Work closely with clinical teams, whānau, and community partners to provide safe, consistent, and mana-enhancing support

We're seeking someone who:

  • Has experience supporting tāngata whai i te ora or in a hauora/community setting
  • Holds (or is working towards) NZQA Level 4 Mental Health and Addictions Support (or equivalent)
  • Communicates clearly, empathetically, and with professionalism
  • Is flexible, reliable, and committed to teamwork
  • Lives and models our values - Tika, Pono, Aroha - in all they do
  • Understands and maintains privacy, safety, and OSH standards

Competence in te reo Māori me ōna tikanga is strongly valued in this role.
