We are seeking a **Reception Team Leader** to lead, manage and mentor our team of 8 Medical Receptionists across our central Auckland branches; CBD, Epsom and St Lukes.

Based at Mercy Hospital in Epsom and reporting to the Front of House Manager, this position will suit a switched on customer focussed professional who has the experience and ability to foster and maintain effective working relationships in a busy and high functioning environment. This is a permanent full-time position requiring 40 hours a week that may vary from week to week depending on cover required, but working across the four sites there will be heaps of variety and no two days the same.

**Key responsibilities of the role are to**:

- Lead, develop and manage a team of medical receptionists
- Motivate & empower the team through coaching, mentoring & performance management to deliver excellent customer service & patient care
- Prepare & manage rosters to ensure optimal coverage across sites
- Oversee invoicing and processing of payments
- Undertake reception duties as required
- Previous experience in medical administration or reception
- Proven record of effective team leadership
- Excellent IT skills and the ability to pick up new systems quickly
- Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with and between staff, patients & referrers
- High level of professionalism and accountability
