**About the Company**:
This independent agency handles complaints about the actions and decisions of government agencies, undertakes investigations and inspections, and provides advice and guidance to ensure people in New Zealand are treated fairly by the state.
**About the Role**:
This is a busy role, supporting the delivery of key physical, personnel and information security projects, initiatives and day-to-day activities within the security team.
You will be capturing the security requirements through reports and analysis to see where improvements can be made. This will require you to have excellent coordination and planning skills to make sure the security programme keeps on track. The key focus is on the security strengthening programme, this will allow you to establish strong, cohesive relationships throughout the office.
You’ll be working closely with other team members, the Security Governance Committee and also with staff needing security clearances, advice and information.
**Skills & Experience**:
- Relevant training, qualification or equivalent work experience in a similar position.
- Knowledge of current physical and personnel security standards, practices and methods.
- An understanding of the physical and personnel and/or information security environment.
