Every day the National Cyber Security Centre's (NCSC) Cyber Security Advisors work to protect New Zealanders and their interests. They form a critical part of the wider NCSC defending national security, raising cyber resilience and facilitating digital transformation.
The NCSC mission produces a unique working environment and team atmosphere. **We're looking for two Cyber Security Advisors that**:
- Have good judgement and problem-solving
- Are team players, supporting a collaborative working environment
- Can build on a background in cyber security or IT to further develop their expertise
- Enjoy working directly with customers
- Are able to effectively share insight, verbally and in writing
As part of our team, you will be working alongside other Cyber Security Advisors to deliver key customer-facing services. Work with an established team, with a strong focus on understanding the level of New Zealand's cyber resilience and supporting the uplift of that resilience.
Your role will be to build awareness of nationally significant organisations cyber resilience, delivering these insights to both the NCSC and customer organisations. The role also requires facilitating the exchange of security information to customers within key sectors supporting the economy.
You'll be a great fit for this role if you have a background in:
- IT security or Cyber security
- Consulting
- Audit and Assurance or
- Governance Risk and Compliance
