Senior Product Manager

We have a fantastic 2-year fixed term opportunity for a Senior Product Manager working in our Product & Channel team within Corporate Banking. **Te tūranga | The role**: As the Senior Product Manager for Merchant Acquiring, you will serve as the product expert for your product set and maintain an in-depth analysis, insight and record of your products. You will be building relationships with key stakeholders within our functional teams, leveraging relationships to deliver cross-functional outcomes with the support of relevant management. You'll lead the development of our merchant services propositions and ensure our customers have the card payment acceptance services they want and need. As a Senior Product Manager, you'll be immersed in a constantly evolving industry that responds to ever-changing customer requirements, new threats to the ecosystem and innovation in technology and regulatory change. You will lead key initiatives throughout the product management lifecycle, focusing on customer centric design, outstanding product management and continuous improvement to services and processes. You'll have a strong risk management skills and excellent communication skills as you'll also be working with external parties who are part of the wider acquiring ecosystem. You will ensure that my portfolio of products is compliant with all relevant laws, regulations and provide a strong value proposition to the distribution teams that promote these products to our customers. **Ō pūkenga | About you**: - Deep and practical experience of Acquiring and Payments products with experience managing risk. - Strong understanding of the Acquiring ecosystem including knowledge of how scheme transactions are processed and scheme compliance processes. - Strong understanding of Acquiring in general and the key economic influences for my product set, including market risk and credit risk. - Ability to influence, strategically problem solve, process performance and re-engineering. - Significant interpretative analytical experience with qualitative, quantitative, and financial data - Minimum 5 years product management experience or equivalent customer facing experience. - Tertiary or Industry Qualifications preferred. **Te mahi ki ASB | Working for ASB**: We are committed to providing opportunities for our team members to grow and develop their capabilities and provide excellent training and personal development to ensure your initial and on-going success.
