**The role**

This is a fantastic opportunity to put your quality leadership experience and enthusiasm for Continuous Improvement together in one pivotal roleat Synlait

Working across the Synlait business from either a Pokeno or Mangere base this role will report to the Quality Continuous Improvement and Standards Manager, with its main responsibilities
- First line of support and expertise for National Operations Quality and Food Safety
- Addressing immediate challenges with permanent solutions whilst appreciating financial implications
- Utilising knowledge and experience to drive continuous improvements of product and practises.
- Leading quality and food safety initiatives providing direction and guidelines for best practise.
- Continuous research of new and innovative standards and practises to keep Synlait ahead of the competition.

This is a highly specialised role in a growth market with the best in the business and is your chance to make a difference in a pivotal position with cross functional teams launching quality, successful dairy products to an ever evolving market

**Skills and experience**

This is a Monday to Friday role with the chance to discuss work from home and flexible work hours for the successful applicant

To be considered for the role will require
- A relevant tertiary qualification in science, engineering or food technology
- Strong experience in New Zealand dairy industry regulatory framework
- Proven project management leadership capability and implementing change in a technical or operational environment.
- The ability to communicate up and down a company structure both written and verbally
- The ability to influence without authority and take pride in your work
