**About the Opportunity**

We are a small but awesome team, we work every day to do the behind the scenes HR & Payroll stuff so that the rest of the business can be awesome as well. We need a payroll & HR star to join us in our mission to pay and “HR” people. You will be responsible for day-to-day HR administrative and HR process leadership. You will also be our “payroll person” making sure that everyone is paid and every cent is accounted for. This role is based in our Corporate Support office in Lower Hutt and requires someone that is able to work meticulously with close attention to detail as well as being highly organised.

Your duties will include:

- Responsible for management of end to end payroll processing, queries and administrative duties.
- Reconciliations and reporting
- Providing support for pre-employment processes such as medical checks, criminal record checks etc.
- Maintain accurate employee records and files to ensure it meets compliance and auditing standards
- Preparation of HR reports
- Providing administrative support of HR systems

You will also be hard working, focussed and cool under pressure, allowing you to prioritise tasks in a busy workplace.

You will have:

- Prior working knowledge of payroll, ideally with full cycle responsibility.
- Proactive approach, lots of energy.
- Experience working as a HR coordinator.
- Excellent interpersonal skills both verbal and written.
- High level of computer literacy with experience in Microsoft Suits.
- The ability to perform under pressure, prioritise and multitask in a time-driven environment.
- Ability to work in a confidential and private manner.
