As a hands-on Customer Experience Representative at Parakiore, you'll play a part in creating a positive, inclusive space, that brings people together. You will be supporting the community, by helping deliver on our commitment to making "More People - More Active - More Often." In these front-line roles at the Council, it is more than just customer service, they're about creating memorable customer experiences. As the face of Parakiore, you'll play a vital role in making every interaction count. Your key responsibilities will include: - Deliver a warm, energetic and enthusiastic welcome to every customer, whilst providing them with a memorable first impression. - Acting as the first point of contact for customer enquiries and sales, delivering excellent customer service by responding to inquiries and providing detailed, accurate information about memberships, services, and retail products. - As someone who has a genuine love for people and is solutions-focused - you'll deliver high-quality information and services to maximize our customer experience. - Delivering a branded customer experience that is actively engaging, inspires confidence and a can do attitude by adhering to customer service standards and normal operating procedures. - Collaborating with colleagues and wider team to ensure a smooth and efficient customer service experience with a strong attention to detail. - Utilising the customer and bookings software system, point of sale and other systems to enhance the customer experience. **About you | Ko Koe Tēnei** - Ideally, you will have gained your customer service experience from working in a front facing, service industry; you will thrive in a fast-paced environment and be able to think on your feet - Be highly personable with a positive attitude and a passion for people. - It is preferable you will hold a current Workplace First Aid Certificate or be willing to obtain one prior to commencement. - Have excellent literacy and computer skills, as well as good verbal communication and time management. - If you're working towards NCEA Level 3 or have completed an alternative form of education, we encourage you to apply. **Parakiore Recreation and Sports Centre**: E kā mauka whakahī e tū nei, e kā awa kōpikopiko e rere nei i te nuku o te whenua, nei rā te reo maioha ki a koutou katoa. Casual opportunities also available. - ** Location**:If you are successful in securing a role based at Parakiore, your primary location will be 50 St Asaph Street. In the lead-up to the facility opening, you may be rostered at another Council facility as needed. Some flexibility around your work schedule may be required during this pre-opening period. - ** Salary**:Starting from $28.95 per hour.
