**Company**:
ConsultANZ is currently looking for Project Engineer to join the team and play a key role in the successful execution of a significant earthwork project in Christchurch, New Zealand.

**Main Duties**:

- Project Management: Lead and manage the execution of earthwork projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budget, and quality standards.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders to coordinate project activities and ensure seamless communication.
- Quality Assurance: Implement and maintain quality control measures, conducting regular inspections to ensure work meets project specifications and standards.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks and proactively develop and implement mitigation strategies to ensure project success.

**Requirements**:

- Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 8 years of experience as a Civil Engineer, with a strong focus on pavement, drainage, and earthwork projects.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in project management software, AutoCAD, and other relevant engineering tools.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information to diverse audiences.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make informed decisions under pressure.
- Team Player: Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements and priorities.
- Certifications: Professional Engineer (PE) certification preferred.
